Toronto City Council

Toronto City Council is the legislative body responsible for making decisions on municipal policies, by-laws, and budgets in the City of Toronto. It consists of the Mayor and 25 elected Councillors who represent different wards. The Council debates and votes on various issues affecting the city, such as urban planning, transportation, public services, and environmental policies. It also sets the annual budget, approves by-laws, and provides oversight of the city's administration to ensure services and projects align with the needs of residents.
